Herbie Brandon was a member for over 50 years. He held every office within the club and was also County President. Towards his later years he was always found around the clubhouse or on the course doing odd jobs. The Club was his second home. He repaired all the shelters around the course and his name was above the door on the old shelter adjacent to the 7th tee. Now removed
